sacred heart choir

"He who sings, prays twice."
ST. AUGUSTINE OF HIPPO

The Sacred Heart Choir is a group of dedicated parishioners who volunteer to sing every week on Sunday at at the 10:00am Sung Mass, as well as Holy Days of Obligation and other special feasts throughout the year.

The choir chants the Asperges before Mass, in which the priest sprinkles the congregation with holy water as part of the opening liturgical ceremony. The choir also chants the Kyrie, Gloria, Credo, Sanctus and Agnus Dei in addition to the Propers of the Mass.

The choir participates in the lifting of the heart and mind to Almighty God during the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass.

We are always looking for new members who would like to join us!
